My Philosophy:
Today we are teaching students for the jobs of tomorrow. With the amazing rate at which technology is advancing, we are now preparing students for jobs that have not yet been created. We need to get technology into the hands of our students!
Personal Information:
About Me:
I am entering my 15th year of teaching-and still LOVE it! I taught first grade for 10 years and have now taught 4th grade for four years. I am engaged to a wonderful man. My daughter has two beautiful children, making me the happiest Grammy in the world. My son just finished a five year contract with the Marine Corps. After serving two tours in Iraq, he now lives in NY with his beautiful wife.

I love to read, play MindJolt games on Face Book, playing Wii Fit, and playing with my amazing grandkids!
Employment History:
I taught in Kenton County Kentucky schools for ten years where I primarily taught first grade. I am now a fourth grade teacher in the Campbell County Public School system.
Why Do I Teach?:
I was a stay at home mom when my children were small. As they entered school I became a volunteer in their school. I found that I loved helping the teachers. I decided to go back to school and get my degree so that I could be a teacher.
