Class Description:
I teach reading intervention to small groups of students, and one on one instruction in grades K-4. My pull-out program includes teaching reading fundamentals in the primary grades and reading fundamentals/comprehensionin grades 2-4.
Position:
Teacher
Needs:
I would like to implement more technology in my classroom so that my students can experience highly interactive, interesting learning activities that I have created. I have a laptop and a projector but need a Smart Board to implement some activities that I have planned.
My Philosophy:
I love my students and develop a relationship with each one. If a student feels safe and loved, his/her mind is more open to learning. Even though I am a teacher, I am still learning. I feel that it is important to keep up with new innovative ideas/philosophiesin education in order to better meet each student's needs.
