Class Description:
Our small charter middle school is made up of a majority of low socioeconomic students who do not have the environment to be successful in school. Approximately 77% of our students are on the free/reduced lunch program.
Position:
Science Teacher
Needs:
In order for students to continue to develop an appreciation and understanding of science in middle school it is vital for them to be engaged in a hands-on learning environment. Our classroom needs 12 laptops to start to achieve this environment. The classroom also needs a subscription for the students to have access to ExploreLearning'sinteractive online simulation for Science called Gizmos. Gizmos are virtual manipulatives that are fun, easy to use, simulations that make hard to learn science concepts understandable for students.
