Class Description:
The school is in the process of setting up an integrated technology lab. The computers (30 old and donated) are very slow, but usable to teach limited research and application skills. We are an at-risk school district with a very high percentage of children of poverty. Most of these children are not exposed to any technology at home other than cell phones or television. We use and integrate technology every day of our lives. Our students need to be exposed to the kind of technology that they will be required to use in the workforce of this century.

Why Do I Teach?:
I teach with goals that will inspire others to be excited about knowledge and opportunities to grasp new information; to be able to make mistakes and continue to learn and achieve success. The younger generation craves the tools to find their place in society. I would like to think that I assist them in their journey to find the knowledge necessary to confidently stand on their own and make educated decisions.
