Personal Information:
About Me:
I have taught for approximately 34 years and have been at my present job for that past 23 years. I teach elememtary school.
College and Degrees:
Masters Deaf Education,Speech,Language, Audiology from Louisiana State University. I also have undergraduate degrees from Moorhead State University and the North Dakota State School of Science.
Activities:
I am very involved with education and work as President of the Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind Education Association. I am a member of the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf. I am on the executive board for VSA Art of Utah. I am on the Teacher Advisory Board for Discovery Gateway.

Generally any book related to technology or art.

Interests:
Activities that I enjoy are golfing and bowling. I also enjoy yardwork and gardening. I like technology an awful lot as well.
Employment History:
I have worked for the Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind for 23 years. Prior to that I taught in Louisiana and Minnesota. I have also had retail experience managing catalog showrooms in the South.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because it is fun. I like to see the kids faces light up when they get it. I enjoy the challenges of the population that I work with.
