Class Description:
I have 19 5 and 6 year old Kindergarteners. 4of my students are ESL (20% of my class) and approximately 10% of my students are considered At-Risk.

I am looking to implement I-Pod Touches (5-6 for small group instruction and individual practice) into my classroom for added support with my ESL and At-Risk students in letter/sound practice, word building activities, listening comprehension, number and counting enrichment, and problem solving programs.

Hollins College - BA - Psychology / Elementary Education Universityof Texas at Dallas - MS - Special Education I am certified in: Early Childhood, ESL, GT, and Special Education.

1 year private preschool 17 years with Dallas Independent School District, Texas 8 years with McKinney Independent School District, Texas
Why Do I Teach?:
It's my passion. I love watching young learners get excited when they learn something new, and that they can do anything they set their mind and heart to.
