Class Description:
I teach all children (Kindergarten--FifthGrade) (regular education and special education students) in the computer lab. We utilize a variety of technology tools to expose students to the 21st century technology tools and how they can impact/ enhance their lives.

My Philosophy:
Every child I teach deserves my best effort every day to help them to be successful in their learning adventure and I strive to do so. Children are multi-faceted beings and have many talents... and not all talents are visible in the same way. Sometimes, it is the introduction of new technologies that allows some students to shine who may have struggled in other ways. Our students' job is to do their best and to learn. My job is to help them to be successful in doing their job!

Employment History:
I have taught for the Wake County Public School System of North Carolina since 1992. I have served as a third grade teacher, second grade teacher, and technology resource teacher/facilitator.
Why Do I Teach?:
Education is in my family. I am a 4th generation teacher and find joy working with children. Seeing the excitement of learning and the happiness that students exhibit when working with technology brightens my days and warms my soul. I can not imagine investing my career in any other way! :)
