It can sometimes be difficult to engage a 5 year old in a science or social studies lesson. I want to have a classroom projector in my room to draw my students into what they are learning and get them excited! Nothing is more motivating than being able to actually show your students a live web cam of the Statue of Liberty, rather than just talking about it. Students will be inspired by pictures and videos of plants and animals in their natural habitats.

My classroom, and school, is in need of technology to use to teach. I NEED a computer projector, and I would love an ELMO. Other items, such as digital cameras, a laptop, and smart board would just be awesome! Having these tools would make teaching science and social studies so much more meaningful and exciting for my students!
