I am in my fourth year of teaching. I am a career changer that felt the call to teach and haven't looked back since. Last year I was honored by my school's top student as Star Teacher, and by my peers as Teacher of the Year. I have also been named to Who's Who of Outstanding American Teachers ever year I've taught.
My prior career involved over twelve years of information technology / computer science experience. I feel that my former career has helped me relate to students why and how what they are learning is relevant to the workforce.

Why Do I Teach?:
Quite simply, because I breathe. At the very essence of who I am, I am a teacher. I have found my life purpose, and it is amazing to know that I am where I was made to be. I pride myself in teaching students through my subject. The emphasis is on the student and the relationship. I use my knowledge and skills to guide and impact high school students positively. I also share my life lessons. I love those kids.
