I teach 78 students. Some students do have some learning disabilities. Many of these students are coming from homes that have parents that are divorced, some students are from a home that has had a parent pass away or live with their grandparents.

I have a classroom that has many children with many different learning disabilities. I co-teach that class with another teacher.
My Philosophy:
My philosophy is that all children can learn. I also feel that learning has to be fun in some ways. I try my best every day to give the kids my best and give them a safe, and loving learning environment.
Personal Information:
About Me:
I am a mother of two very active children, ages 7 and 10. Both are involved in sports and like to keep me busy. My daughter loves to sing, draw and play soccer, basketball, and softball. My son loves to draw and make his own comics, and play baseball, basketball, soccer and football. My husband and I are busy with the kids, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
College and Degrees:
I received my Bachelor's degree from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. My Master's degree is from Ashland University in Ohio.
Activities:
I am involved in my church, like to run, use my elliptical.
Employment History:
I have worked in Coventry Local School District for 18 years. I love my job and wouldn't do anything different.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I love to see children learn. I love to help children become better readers and writers. I just love kids and want to help them succeed in life.
