Class Description:
I am a Home/Hospital teacher with EL Paso ISD and my students are Regular Education and Special Education in grades K-12. I teach children who are to ill to attend school. My students are confined to their homes or the hospital and the length of their home bound stay may vary from 4 weeks to the entire shool year. This year I am teaching Science which is my first love.

Needs:
I would love a external hard drive, a 120 GB would be fantastic. Anything over 120 GB above would be a dream come true for me. It needs to be light enough for me to carry into the student's home or hospital room. Any science CD or DVD which have interactive activities and or lab simulations for grades 6-12... Life Sciences, all Earth Sciences, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

About Me:
I have been teaching 26 years...yes, that's a long time and I still enjoy my job. I have taught grades 1-12. I have regular education and special education teaching certifications. My biggest grade level change was from first grade one year to AP Biology the next. I am married to a super dooper fellow. I have three wonderful children...and three grandchildren..allgirls! I have taught all over the world with DoDEA.

Why Do I Teach?:
Why do I Teach...that's an easy question to answer...I love my job. I have an impact on my student's lives, which, in turn impacts the future. The students I teach today are the future of tomorrow.
