Class Description:
I teach am amazing group of fifth graders every year. I teach Math to both 5th grade classrooms and as a team we also switch kids for Reading, so I am lucky enough to get to know all 40 students every year.

Needs:
Our classroom really needs access to technology! We have many struggling learners due to special education or language issues and technology is a great way to "level the playing field".
My Philosophy:
ALL students can learn at optimal levels when given the the right "entry point" into the curriculum. It is essential for teachers to get to know each individuals learning style, needs and interests in order to teach them to the fullest level. I am committed to knowing all my students on a deep level and feel lucky to have found the teaching profession!
