As the Literacy Specialist I bounce from room to room. I work with third through fifth grade students throughout the year. In the mornings I am usually teaching whole group writing. In the afternoon I am pulling struggling readers and writers to reinforce reading/writing skills and strategies.

About Me:
I have been teaching for 8 years. I taught first grade for four years, third grade for one year and have been a Literacy Specialist for grades 3-5 for the past three years.

I teach because I know I am going to change students attitudes about reading and writing and make sure they have a positive attitude towards reading and writing.
