Needs:
I am a hands-on teacher who applies as many manipulatives as possible to assist students in mastering given content. I am in need of supplies such as the student response system, mini-whiteboard with the coordinate grid, and calculators.
My Philosophy:
I believe all students can learn. This is done by creating an environment in which students feel comfortable, and through this comfort, learning is fostered. As a teacher, I know that I cannot make ALL students LOVE math, but my reasonable and attainable goal is to allow my students to become less afraid of doing math and consider it a challenge they want to undertake instead of a subject to fear and disregard forever. The fact is, they will always need math, so it is beneficial to them to get comfortable with it NOW!

About Me:
I'm 25 years old. This is my fourth year teaching. I love my job, and I am able to create a great rapport with my students and their parents. For fun, I read romance novel. My wish when I was a child was to become an actress, but in my high school math teacher saw something in me, a spark, that she nurtured until I graduated with my degee in Mathematics.

Why Do I Teach?:
I'm good at it. I have been told, I have a way of explaining Math, which makes it easier for students to understand. I love seeing a child exclaim, "I got it!"
