Class Description:
I teach Tech Arts, which is really a problem solving and critical thinking class, with power tools. We go through the design cycle, and create projects that reflect real world career paths. I also have a broadcasting class, focusing on communication skills, in which we produce videos that are shown to the whole school.

Needs:
We really need some basic hand tools, as well as higher tech items used in video production. Various tool needs are a complete socket and wrench set, and come cordless drill kits. We are also in need of video cameras and video production equipment. Solar and other renewable energy equipment greatly needed as well, we annually create alternative energy projects. Currently we need 3 solar panels for our solar powered golf cart.
My Philosophy:
Give the kids the tools and equipment they need, and the sky's the limit. If there is a limit at all, their ability and talent contantly astounds me, when they get the support they need.
Personal Information:
Why Do I Teach?:
I hated school when I was a kid. I became a teacher to try to make a difference in kid's lives. I am trying to reach those kids who do not like school, I try to motivate them, and see the value of education, and help them apply themselves.
