I believe in working hard and modeling this to my students who in turn are expected to work hard and meet my expectations of them. I believe every child has hidden and uptapped potential waiting to be found.

About Me:
I have taught for 21 years, have read thousands of essays, love to see students proud of themselves and their accomplishments. I am happily married to the same man for 33 years, have two grown daughters who are productive members of society, and have a black German Shepherd.

College of the Redwoods - AA degree Western New Mexico University - BA and MAT Degrees
Activities:
I am the yearbook adviser, Student Council co-sponsor, and a class sponsor.

Employment History:
I worked as an office manager for two dentists for 6 six years before finishing my education and becoming a teacher - 21 years.
Why Do I Teach?:
I always wanted to be a teacher from the time that I was little. I like kids and the excitement, problems, and joy that they bring to class with them.
