I teach a very diverse group of students. Our school is approximately 93% free and reduced lunch, which means our students come from poor backgrounds. Our students rarely get to explore life like many other children in our country. They don't have a great deal of life experiences to connect to academic situations so it is important to me that I make as many as I can through thier learning. I enjoy using technology as a major teaching tool, especially being that a very small percentage of my students, if any, have any technology in their homes.
