Class Description:
Oakville Middle School has four concert bands: Beginning Band (6th Grade), 7th Grade Band, 8th Grade, and Symphonic Band (combined 7th & 8th Grade). We also are active in the St. Louis Suburban Music Educator's Association with the MS Honor Band and the MS Music Festival. The Spartan Jazz Ensemble meets once a week and is an audition-only group.

Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because being involved with public school music programs changed the course of my life completely. I teach because kids need the arts. I teach because my subject matter has made my life better and I owe it to this activity to give back.
