I teach a class of 26 5th grade students: 11 girls and 15 boys. They have a range of abilities from slightly below grade level to gifted.

About Me:
I have been teaching for seven years for the Lakota Local School District. For the first six years at Lakota, I taught computer lab to first through sixth graders. This year is my first year in the regular classroom. I am enjoying teaching fifth grade.
I have also taught reading, math, writing, study skills and homework support at Sylvan Learning Centers and have inputted sites into Nettrekker, a safe search engine for kids.
College and Degrees:
Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (1-8) with concentrations in math, science, and social studies from Miami University, Ohio
Master's degree in Integrating Technology in the K-12 Curriculum from Walden University
