Class Description:
4 classes of 8th grade Science; about 28 students per class, including ESL, hearing impaired and visually impaired. Typically, I use an LCD projector almost daily; we utilize many internet websites, and use different programs to organize our data.
Position:
Science Teacher
Needs:
We need technological gifts to increase our knowledge. Anything that will help my students connect to the material better is wonderful, and technology has done that. We only have 1 projector per team, and sometimes the internet is not reliable, so having some reliable software programs to use would be great.
My Philosophy:
I feel that students must connect to the material personally in order to remember it long term. I try to find as many ways as possible to teach material that can help them connect!
