Class Description:
My courses for the 2007-2008 academic year consist of 3 classes of mixed age and ability Spanish 1, 1 section of Honors Spanish 3 and 1 class of Honors Spanish 4.

Spanish Teacher
Needs:
Our classes could greatly benefit from 10-15 digital voice recorders. This would help tremendously in our department goal of improving the assessment of speaking activities and giving all students access to a recording device.

About Me:
I am a 15 year teaching veteran: 13 of which have been in the forward moving urban district of Revere, MA.
College and Degrees:
I have a B.A. in Secodary Education and a B. A. in Spanish Language and Literature from Syracuse University and a M.A. in Spanish Language and Literature from Middlebury College. I have attended Fitchburg and Salem State as well as Harvard Extension to persue pedagogy and technology courses.

Why Do I Teach?:
I love to help emerging language learners discover how to take the talents they already have and communicate in a way they never thought possible. I equally enjoy helping more advanced students fully understand another culture and more closely examine their part in their own culture. Overall, there is no greater joy than to help the students in front of me be all that they can be and to watch the profound change that takes place in the span of 4 short years.
