Class Description:
8th grade Social Studies, (US History) 8th grade Science 8th grade Language Arts My room is decorated with Military uniforms, original photos of Military scenes, and art work.
Position:
Middle School S.S. Teacher
Needs:
I teach at the Indiana Soldiers' and Sailors' Children's Home. We are a State Facility in Knightstown Indiana. I am always in need paper, pencils, notebooks, etc.. I also would welcome anything that I could use for room decorations,(Militaryoriented) or old photographs of Military, city, or transportation scenes. (Railroad, Air, Highway) Anything I receive will be documented and used.
My Philosophy:
In order for my students to learn, I first earn their trust. While the basic subject matter is the same for each class, everyone of my student has needs that go far beyond books and standards. It is MY responsibility to know and teach each child as an INDIVIDUAL, not as a group.
