Why Do I Teach?:
Myself and the teaching artists at the non profit Magic Box are committed to helping students become "visually literate"-so that they can understand and use the powerful communication tools of film , photography and the arts in all aspects of life and learning. We are one of few arts organizations to bring these lessons to students as early as elementary school, and we teach in widely underserved, at risk schools where our programs make a huge impact.
