About Me:
I am an elementary school Media Specialist. I taught 3 years at Brunswick High School, 10th Grade English. I absolutely love to read and I go crazy over technology!
College and Degrees:
Armstrong Atlantic State University, Savannah GA, BA in English w/ Teacher Certification. GASouthern University, Statesboro, GA, Masters in Education, Instructional Technology
Favorite Books:
Gone with the Wind, To Kill a Mockingbird, Lord of the Flies, Harry Potter series, any and all Seuss (especially the Sneetches and Oh, The Places You'll Go), and really I could go on forever . . .

Employment History:
I have been with the Glynn County School System for almost 6 years now. I started in the Fall of 1999 at Brunswick High as a teacher, but left in 2002 to have my first son and finish my Master's. I came back in February of 2006 as a Media Specialist at CB Greer. I transferred to St. Simons Elementary (my alma mater) at the start of the 2007 school year.
Why Do I Teach?:
I know of no other joy in life. When I read a story to a child, or better yet, have a child read to me, I know there is nothing else I could possibly be doing.
