I teach several Math and Computer classes.

Needs:
We would like some iPods to enhance language learning, to help students who cannot read and to assist in test-taking. We are working very hard to help our students, who have learning and emotional challenges, progress to the highest level possible.
Personal Information:
College and Degrees:
I received a Bachelor's and Master's from Queens College of CUNY. I have also taken Graduate courses at Brooklyn College, Hofstra University and The New York Institute of Technology. I am currently attending Adelphi University, pursuing a second Master's in School Building Leadership.
Favorite Books:
I adore Chicken Soup for the Soul books, biographies and young adult literature. I love to purchase a book, read it and then pass it on to a student or a friend.
Interests:
I am interested in crafts, craft fairs and flea markets, I like reading, swimming, walking. I constantly look for information that will help me become a better teacher.
Employment History:
I have been employed at my current school since September of 1978. I have worked in different day camps, one for 19 years. I also worked at an airline for 6 years.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I have a passion for it. I want to have a positive impact on the lives of the students in my care.
