I am a kindergarten teacher in a Catholic school. There are twenty-four children in my class. They are all very willing and eager to learn. The families are of middle-class income.

Computers and other types of technology have become so important in today's education. My classroom has very little technology in it. We simply do not have the funding for it.
My Philosophy:
I believe that all children can and will learn happily. But with the addition of technology, the students will excel beyond expectations.

I spent most of my college time studying. I had to go to college on a grant so it was very important that I kept up my grades.

I am retired from the Avoyelles Parish public school system. Since retirement, I have worked in the Alexandria Diocese Catholic school system.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I love children and because I feel that I can help children become better citizens. I think I have what it takes to educate the children of today so that they may be productive individuals in the future.
