Why I need this:
Our school has had a yearbook program since our school opened in 2010. Quite simply, we do not currently have the resources to host our yearbook club. Students have had to use their own digital cameras, or borrow one from a family member, or even borrow a staff member's personal camera in order to complete their yearbook assignments on their own time. Sometimes, we simply have to rely on teachers to share their own photos. Although inconvenient, our staff makes do and produces a wonderful yearbook year after year.
Our students are capable of taking great photos and creating their own photographic memories! This mobile lab would not only revolutionize our yearbook program but benefit our art program as well. Our art teachers would like to teach digital photography as a part of our rich arts curriculum, and what better place to learn photographic techniques than picturesque Lake Lure! Please help us make our digital wish and these learning opportunities a reality!
