Class Description:
I teach English literature and writing, including multimedia work in a class called Kenmare Stories: A Multimedia Interview Project, to adult women. The class involves interviewing and photographing people -- each semester focusing on a different theme -- and is ultimately designed to strengthen both narrative and visual literacy. Students produce short audio slideshows, having edited long interviews into a 2-minute story and featuring their best photos from that session.
