Class Information:

Class Description:
I teach Journalism, Broadcast, and Electronic Experiences in a middle school. My students come from high poverty and love the opportunity to explore their creativity using our cameras and editing equipment.
Position:

Needs:
My students need additional digital cameras, computers and appropriate software to be able to complete their assignments and produce a school newspaper and yearbook.
My Philosophy:
I teach because I love working with children and feel that the middle school age is a special group that needs patience and support as they spread their wings and get ready to fly. I want to share with each of them the belief that with hard work, they can go anywhere in life.

Activities:
In my spare time I work with a non-profit that uses miniature horses and other animals to work with special needs children. I enjoy reading and music.
