Position:
Reading Specialist
Needs:
Because this class is considered an elective and not a core class, I will never receive any State or Federal funding to equip my room with technology. I need better access to better technology to accomplish the goals I have set for myself and my students.
My Philosophy:
I think it is very important to teach students in ways that they find interesting and meaningful. Technology and creative learning activities is the best way to accomplish this.

Why Do I Teach?:
I am a teacher because I believe that every student can be successful if they have enough people telling them they can do it. I love seeing the spark in my students eyes when they finally reach the realization that they can do it.
