Position:
Technology Director
Needs:
As most small, rural school districts, our technology vision reaches beyond the depth of our pockets. Our greatest needs are in facilitating collaboration.
My Philosophy:
First and foremost, as director of technology, I feel that my job is to ensure the ease, reliability and functionality of communication. I firmly believe that simply setting a student in front of a computer screen accomplished little to nothing - it takes integrated and engaging curricular content to excite students and encourage their collective creativity. Class wide collaboration and discussions are vitally essential, and I believe that technology can be a useful aid in such endeavors.
