Class Description:
I teach grades 6-8. I teach students the processes, purposes, and skills for reading.

Needs:
Our school is in need of access to updated technology that keeps up with the creativity and blooming genius of our students.
My Philosophy:
My teaching philosophy is that every person is entitled to a quality, intensive, personal education. The quality component includes compassion and understanding as well as current information and updated materials. The intensive component entails time management and relativity of content. The personal component requires differentiation of instruction and catering to student needs.
Personal Information:
About Me:
I am a young teacher with big ideas. I love to learn and hope to foster that love in my students everyday. I have been teaching from a very young age (my teddy bears are now brilliant) and knew without doubt I would be a teacher after college. It is my calling and passion.
College and Degrees:
I graduated from Fort Hays State University with a BS in Elementary Education. I am currently working on my Masters in Special Education.
Favorite Books:
I love so many books that this whole page wouldn't be big enough. My favorite genres are Fantasy and Historical Fiction.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I am called. I teach because it is my passion. I teach because children need a place and a person to trust and it is my duty to help them find that within themselves.
