The classroom is very diverse in population. The teacher has 5 ESOL students and 2 are pulled each week. There are 4 students who receive Special Education Services. The teacher has two students in the challenge program who are pulled once a week.
Position:
Teacher
Needs:
Our school is a high needs school with 80% of students receiving Free and Reduced lunch. However, we are not a Title I school; therefore, we do not receive the funding necessary to support technology or some basic needs in the classroom.
My Philosophy:
The knowledge and familiarity of integrating technology into learning is becoming pertinent in today's world. As a result, all students should have the opportunity to experience learning with technology. Using technology at home in order to learn also reinforces their learning at school. "Flipping" the classroom is a must for students with learning disabilities and for students who are English learning, especially if they do not have the necessary support at home.

Love like you'll never be hurt,
