I teach two seventh classes, two eighth grade classes, and an art related enrichment class daily for 90 days. With each trimester I receive new students. Both students receiving special education services and ELL (English Language Learners)servicesare fully integrated into all my classes. Our school is nearing 50% poverty level.
Position:
visual art teacher
Needs:
Despite the completion of a major building construction project, there was not enough money to fully stock our new spaces or new programs. I need laptop computers and digital cameras for a full class and imaging software for students to work with their digital photos and for creating art. It's difficult for students to wait for their turns when it's necessary to share equipment and computers.
