Class Description:
I am the Assistive Technology Facilitator for Brunswick County Schools. In my position, I serve PK-12th grade students with special needs, modifying materials and activities so that students with disabilities will be able to access the same information as their peers.

Needs:
Through the use of photographs, I am able to modify many materials and activities, and put them into a format that is much more realistic and easier to relate to, for our students with disabilities. We create many activity based books using photographs of the students participating in various activities. My greatest needs are: 1. At least one digital camera per school for use by the Exceptional Children's department. 2. Printers capable of printing color photographs. 3. Ink to support the use of the printers. 4. Photo paper and/or card stock on which to print individual photos or pages of books. 5. Laminating pouches to protect individual photos.

Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I enjoy making a difference in the lives of children - especially those with disabilities.
