Class Description:
My class is about as mixed as it can get. High, Medium, Low, Special Ed., and ESL-some that speak no English up to high level understanding. I also teach the newcomers class-students that have been in America for less than a year. I unfortunately do not speak Spanish, Vietnamese, Lao, or any other language.
Position:
Elementary Science Teacher
Needs:
I and my partner need Olympus FE-26 Digital cameras to enhance our lessons so students will be able to bring outdoor lessons in and "capture" the moment while we are doing experiments so they can go back and compare changes that have occured.
My Philosophy:
All kids can learn if you give them the chance.

This is my 13th year of teaching and all 13 have been at Colvin Elementary.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach to bring the wonderful world of science to life for my poverty students. Even though my students observe the world around them, they need someone that will listen to them and answer their questions then build upon their gained knowledge to continue questioning why things happen.
