Students per Class: 28
Class Description:
I have 28 energetic 9 and 10 year olds this year! I have several from different ethinic backgrounds as well. These students need instruction with hands-on/minds-onlearning.
Position:

Needs:
I am in desperate need of a smart board for my class! My students need to be actively engaged at all times especially during instruction. With a smartboard, I could not only teach, but also give them the opportunity to interact with the lessons.
Personal Information:
Why Do I Teach?:
I am a teacher because I want to make a difference in the lives of children who would other wise not be given a chance. I grew up with a single father and my grandparents helped raise my sister and me. Unfortunately many of my teachers felt I wouldn't be successful in life due to the unusual living situation. I now use that part of my life as a driving force behind everything that I do, teach, say. I believe in reaching ALL learners regardless of their circumstances.
