I was born in Grapevine, Texas, but I moved to the Springfield area when I was eight years old, in 1997, with my family. I attended Fair Grove Middle School and High School and graduated with a College Preparatory Certificate (Honors) in 2007. I attended Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri from 2007 until I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in English Secondary Education in 2011. I student taught 11th grade at Hillcrest High School in Springfield, Missouri. I taught 6-8th grade Reading at Hatton-McCredie Elementary in the North Callaway School District in Kingdom City, Missouri the 2011/2012 school year. I have one younger brother who is currently serving abroad in the Air Force. Both of my parents still reside in Springfield, Missouri. I enjoy swimming, fishing, canoeing, reading, writing, crocheting, and horseback riding. Teaching is my passion and I am excited to be a part of the Iberia R-V School District!
