Class Description:
My students are 85% Filipino and live on a very small and secluded island. We do not have stores that sell digital cameras, iPads, or Nintendo DSs. Our access to technology is again limited with slow Internet speeds. Despite these challenges, common core says that students need to use digital tools to produce and publish their writing. My students have wonderful ideas, they just need the tools to show the world!

My classroom needs 2 laptops, an iPad, iPad covers, and color ink to digitally create and publish our writing throughout the year.
My Philosophy:
I believe in a hands-on approach to education that not only sparks the fire for a love of learning, but meets each student where they are and builds from there. Kids are not cookie cutters and we all learn differently. I aim to provide an education that meets the needs of all of my students.
