About Me:
I am a mother of two boys and a girl, a six year old, a three year old, and a eleven month old. I am from Florida then moved to Georgia. After five years, we moved to Irmo, South Carolina. I am an InTec Specialist at Leaphart and Seven Oaks Elementary School.
College and Degrees:
I have a B.A. and Masters degree in Elementary Education with a specialty in Middle School Science from the University of Florida. I have taught Middle Grade science for 5 years. I then moved down to elementary where I taught 3rd grade for 2 years and 1st grade for one year while working on my Specialist degree from the University of West Georgia in Instructional Technology.
Why Do I Teach?:
My job is to teach teachers how to integrate technology into the classroom. I demonstrate ways to engage students in learning that is familiar to them. I enjoy seeing the excitement students give when we are completing a project.
