Class Description:
I teach the best 5th grade students in the world. They are unique, come from diverse populations, and are intrinsically motivated in all they do.
Position:
5th Grade Teacher
Needs:
All of the 5th grade teachers in my school are really interested in teaching through digital photography. A digital mobile lab would be ideal. In fact, our school is an arts magnet school, and I know that all of our teachers would make use of such an awesome tool!
Personal Information:
About Me:
I am married to the world's most patient husband! We have been blessed with three wonderful children. I grew up in Michigan, and spent 11 years as a computer technician in the Air Force before I decided to do what I love, teach.
College and Degrees:
I earned an Assosciates in Information Systems from the Community College of the Air Force. I also earned a Bachelors in Buisness from the University of Phoenix. Finally, I earned my Masters in Education from Wayland Baptist University.
Activities:
I love to read, take pictures, go for walks with my family, garden, and many other activities, but most of all I love to teach!
Favorite Books:
There are too many to list. I love children's literature! Charlotte's Web; Gossamer; Bud, Not Buddy; So B. It; and many others are on my list of must read again & again books!

Interests:
Photography, poetry, reading new & interesting literature, scrapbooking.
Employment History:
I served our country proudly for 11 years in the Air Force. Since then, I have been employed as a teacher in New Mexico.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I can't think of a better reason to get out of bed everyday! I teach because at some point in my life I knew that it was the teachers in my life that made the difference. They gave me the tools & belief that I could have a better life than my parents. I want to pass that legacy on to the next generations.
