Class Description:
My class is a collaborative learning environment where students work together to complete tasks and solve problems. Students always work as groups and take turns mentoring each other.
Position:
Teacher & Mathematics Dept. Head
Needs:
Currently I need video recording devices so my students can create video journals weekly. We have been doing this and posting to custom student-created websites but not all students have access to video recording equipment.
My Philosophy:
I believe any student is capable of greatness. However, I believe it is the teacher who has the power to get the student to see their own potential. I believe the following quote: "Students don't care how much you know until they know how much you care."

Why Do I Teach?:
Education freed me from a life of poverty and I now consider it a saving grace. I teach in a school with at-risk students to help motivate them to gain an education that will facilitate their growth into happy and productive members of society.
