About Me:
I am 32 years old. I speak French, Spanish and English. I love to cook and also bring food into my classroom to teach about the history of the world. I also love to cycle and kayak.
College and Degrees:
I earned my BA in Anthropology from American University in 1993 and I earrned my MAT in Social Studies from Brown University in 2002.
Activities:
I also make films in my free time. I love to make documentaries about my family. One day I will make a film about teaching and learning.

Employment History:
I have taught 7th grade Social Studies at Paul for 5 years. I have taught ESL to adults and children, and also geography and cooking to adolescents. I have taught in Puebla, Mexico, Seekonk, MA, New York, NY and I was a substitute teacher here in DCPS for a year before I entered my grad program.

I love seeing students get excited when they experience success and can prove they have mastered something!
