Why I need this:
My students with Autism are working in the community and in the school setting. Their work experiences focus on developing life skills, communication, social skills, and job skills within a community environment. The Widescreen CP-X3 Projector would be the first addition of technology equipment that would assist in providing video demonstrations of job sequencing steps, social greetings role modeling, familiarity with community sites, and community members that students would be working with. The Projector would allow the use of DVD recordings, software presentation, and video clips to be shown to students prior to their work in the community. The video footage would also be viewed after a work experience to assist the students in identifying success on the job, as well as identifying behaviors/skills that require improvement. |
