Class Information:
Room Number: Film and Video

Class Description:
I teach two levels of film and video--beginning and advanced. We cover everything from film history, to script writing, to production and post. We study photography, directing, and create a variety of pieces including: art videos, documentaries, dramas, comedies, horror, and science videos. We also archive school activities throughout the year.
Position:
Film and Video Instructor
Needs:
The program has grown in the past year, but the technology remains the same. I am in need of two more computer and at least two more digital cameras. Right now I have two computers that are in declining working order, and one handi-cam and one nicer camera that can be used only under supervision.
My Philosophy:
I hope my students receive a well-rounded exposure to film, with an emphasis on hands-on experience. I believe a multi-pronged approach with respect to different learning styles enhances the creative and learning experience.
