I am looking for ANY help in purchasing Lego Robotics kits (WeDo Kits & Mindstorms Kits) for my students to use to enhance our science and technology learning (STEM).
My Philosophy:
I believe in my students. They have such a large capacity to learn and grow. I strive to teach my students to be the best they can be, to learn to communicate, problem solve, collaborate, and to use critical and creative thinking skills.

About Me:
I have just begun my 19th year of teaching. I've also been married for 19 years to my husband Chris and we have 2 children, a daughter (14 years old) and a son (12 years old). I am the only person in my family born in Florida. My parents' families are from Colorado and I grew up in Florida. I graduated from high school in Athens, Georgia. In my free time I love to travel, watch my kids in their various activities and spend time with friends.

Travel-I love to see the world! Watching football and playing in a Fantasy Football League; Spending time with my kids (watching their different activities-baseball,cheer, dance, boy scouts, cross country) and spending time with friends.
Favorite Books:
There are SO many great books! I will just name a few...I love a great mystery. John Grisham is one of my favorite authors. I love the "Dragon Tales" stories by Dav Pilkey and just finished the final book in the Divergent Series.

Employment History:
I've been a teacher at Sardis Enrichment School since 1996. In college I worked at Walmart as a customer service manager, at a veterinarian office as a tech, and as a pre-school teacher at Brenau University.

I love to spark interest in learning and creativity with my students! I strive to be the teacher they will always remember and know that I "believe in them"!
