We are the Greater Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church Youth Squad. Our goal is to teach and learn about God, Christianity, individuality, education, and the arts. We participate in anything that can benefit our kids! Our kids learn about theatre, music, technology, and even animals! Before Hurricane Katrina, we had a huge and active youth group and drill team. 6 years later, we started it back up. Since 2011, we have been participating in field trips, community service projects, fundraisers, and practices to get our drill team back up and running. Our main lesson is that "Only what you do for Christ will last". These kids are amazingly talented and full of drive and energy! God has given these kids so many gifts, and it's time for the world to see them. We are currently rebuilding our fellowship hall which will consist of a classroom for our kids and and office. Our older kids are in the process of stepping into their leadership roles.
