As a kindergarten teacher, I believe an iPad will help my students increase language development, increase engagement and improve pre reading and early learning skills. There are hundreds of applications specifically developed for young children (like Handwriting without Tears, Smarty Pants School, Story Builder, etc.). I have seen how this tool can enhance learning and I am eager to help my students achieve success with this innovative piece of technology.
