Last spring we had our first ever Photo Club at JB Fisher. It was an amazing partnership with Trinity Episcopal School. Our club was mainly 5th graders and a few exceptional 4th graders. We learned to take pictures, develop film and print our pictures in a darkroom. It was amazing. We do not have room in our school for our own darkroom since transportation became difficult. Now that I am a teacher at Fisher, I would love to lead a regular session in photography in addition to our fine art curriculum. We would love to have digital cameras and a portable digital printer on hand for a photo session during the year for our 4th and 5th graders.
