I am trying to raise money to increase the amount of technology in my classroom. Currently, I have 2 Netbooks and 1 iPad available for 25 students. So, their daily technology usage is limited, and it is very difficult to incorporate technology into my lessons. With the technology currently available in my classroom, students are not prepared to enter the digital world we live in. This is especially true of my students who live in a high poverty area where access to the internet and devices is limited to the few families who can afford it. With the money raised in this fundraiser, I would purchase Chromebooks and a mobile charging station.
